Alif Ujala ("Alif Ujala", "we", "our", or "us") is a free Urdu learning website and Android app operated by AIEarlyEdge. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors of alifujala.ai, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We try to keep data collection to a minimum. We may collect:

• Account data you choose to provide when signing up (username, email, a hashed password, and an avatar selection). You can use most of the site without an account.
• Progress data stored in your browser (via localStorage) so children can continue games and worksheets where they left off.
• Technical data such as IP address, device type, browser, pages visited and referring page, collected automatically through standard server logs and cookies.

2. How we use information

• Run and improve the website, games, stories, and worksheets.
• Keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
• Reply to messages and support requests.
• Measure which pages are useful so we know what to build next.

We do not sell personal information.

3. Cookies and local storage

Alif Ujala is designed to be family-friendly and to be used by children with the help of a parent, guardian, or teacher. We keep account data for as long as the account is active. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. We use industry-standard measures to protect data, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
